Part 1 The World of American Whiskey
In the second class, we will focus entirely on an in depth American whiskey history. You’ll be on the verge to becoming a whisky historian.
There will also be a portion of the class focused on whisky and food pairing!
Part 2 The Art of Public Speaking
We will teach you the fine art of getting and holding attention, storytelling, and creating a confident presentation of the deep, broad knowledge you hold in your head. Passing on the passion and romance of whisky is all about stories.
Part 3 Marketing of Upscale Products
How do you sell upscale products or services, especially in our changing economy? The same way successful people always have: with language that has a sense of glamor, mystery, and magic; with messaging that doesn’t just tell people “what,” or “how,” but strongly communicates “why.” We will take you through this section focused on writing and communicating the glamor of whisky.
Part 4 Whiskey and Food Pairing
Anthony Dina guides us through the science and chemistry of food and whiskey pairing.
COVID: We don’t care if you take a vaccine or not. Politics has nothing to do with it. The fact is there are people on campus whose entire livelihood and income depend on their ability to smell and taste. It’s not perfect, but we’re doing what we can to mitigate risk.
So, as it stands we’re asking everyone attending to either provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of attending class.
If neither of the above two options are palatable to you then it would be best not to sign up for an in-person class at this time.
